Qualifications:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field with 12 ECE credits, or
- Associate’s degree in ECE with 3 years of experience.
- Experience working with infants/toddlers and preschoolers in a childcare or educational setting.
- Knowledge of early childhood development and best practices for teaching and care.
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide a nurturing, safe, and supportive learning environment for infants and toddlers.
- Lead a team of teachers and assistants in delivering quality education and care for children aged six weeks to three years.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor children's progress and adjust curriculum and activities as needed.
- Collaborate with parents and families to support children’s learning and development.
